A Church That Serves
The dictionary defines the word "Haven" as a place of safety or refuge. The Haven of Rest Missionary Baptist Church lives up to that name. Whether you are new to the area or simply searching for a church to call your own, Haven of Rest is the place for you. Our church has a rich history of community service. Haven of Rest operates a Food pantry, which feeds upwards of 300 people on a weekly basis. The church provides food to those members of the community who lack the financial resources to meet their family's needs. Our church's pantry relies on volunteers to package and distribute the food. Our food pantry program would be a great place to serve your church and your community!
A Church Preparing for the Future
Haven of Rest Baptist Church has a dynamic Youth Ministry! The bible tells us that we should, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Our Youth Ministry works toward the spiritual development of our community's young people, thereby assisting them in forming a Christ- centered spiritual foundation. Haven's Youth Ministry encourages our young people to serve God and their community through service. The church's young people create fruit baskets during the holiday season for our senior citizens. The kids also, minister through liturgical dance, singing and worship. The Youth Ministry is led by a staff who are committed to introducing our young people to Christ. If you are searching for a church that you will enjoy, Haven is the place for you!

We Care About Our Seniors
Haven of Rest Missionary Baptist Church has a rich heritage of serving the seniors within the community. Our church has Haven Tower, which is a State of the Art eighty unit apartment building designed for independent living. The apartment building provides our seniors with the opportunity to form friendships with other seniors, who may not have family in the area. Haven of Rest offers a weekly bible study at Haven Tower, which brings church to those, who in many cases cannot go to church. The Haven of Rest Church campus is the perfect place for a senior who doesn't drive, but wants to attend church regularly; because the church is right next door. We want to be your place of worship!
